I like to watch and be inspired from sunsets and sometimes i get lucky, the surfer was out before sunset and it was xmas eve.

The Sun Rise to take this photo is only at that position for a few short days. If we have low cloud in the English Channel, its a wait till next year.

Its no good being shore based you have to get in to take photos!

Getting an exposure with stars and little movement of the boats means very early mornings or very late nights for the sea and wind to be still.
