Location
This photo was taken from the hillside above Crinan, Scotland, looking back along the River Add.Time
We were walking over the hill early in the afternoon, and this magnificent vista opened up.Lighting
This view would be fantastic in any light.Equipment
This picture shot on a Fuji XT3 with kit lens, no tripod - the day was far too hot to lug a tripod around!Inspiration
How could you not get a shot from this viewpoint?Editing
Simple post-processing with Apple Photo app as included on laptop software. Colour darkened a little, a little saturation and just a few tweaks on the other sliders. In my camera bag
Fuji XT3 with 18-55 kit lens, a polarising filter used sparingly. I also have a Panasonic DMC TZ35 compact camera which I find excellent for quick point and shoot stuff.Feedback
My advice, and please bear in mind that I am a rank amateur, is just get out there and take pictures. I experiment without any fixed plan and sometimes this works really badly, but sometimes the results are fantastic. Learning from the fantastic ones is the trick!
