Thank you! It's one of my favorite shots!

Behind The Lens

Location

From above horse thief lake, park and recreation area, in Washington state. In the Columbia River Gorge.

Time

I set up before sunrise, and waited for the light to hit the mountain.

Lighting

Other than a few tweaks, Mother nature did the rest!

Equipment

I shot this freehand, with a canon sx 420 IS.

Inspiration

I've seen the sunrise so many times, and noticed the dramatic changes due to topography and light. I will continue to take advantage of this, as I improve my photography.

Editing

Yes, I did. I used the dehazing tool, and increased clarity.

In my camera bag

I'm fairly new, to this. So I have two canon cameras.

Feedback

Try and photograph what you love. Try and capture what makes you happy!
