If you're motoring on two wheels through the Rockies, stormy clouds may make you anxious (nobody likes riding in the rain) but, if you're a photographer, the drama this can create in the landscape will be a gift. And so I accepted this gift on that day as I made a pit stop in the town of Blue River, British Columbia — could not pass up capturing some of the light and shadow play taking place on the nearby peaks.
