Location
This photo was taken in Greenland during the month of August.Time
It was nighttime around 9 p.m. and this wonderful northern light lasted for almost one hour literally running from one part of the other of the sky...Lighting
It's important that everything around you is completely dark, because any light might get into the photo and ruin it.Equipment
The photo was taken with a Nikon D750 with a 14-24 lens at 2.8. I used a tripod.Inspiration
It was my great desire and hope to see and take a photo of this incredible and mysterious natural eventEditing
Very little post production was made, just to make some colors a little bit brighterIn my camera bag
Always take with me a wide angle and a medium zoom depending the type of photos I want to take. When I take picture of wild animals I use a zoom to get the full action!!!Feedback
Well, you need to be a little bit lucky and very patient. Most of all you need to be ready with your camera on a tripod and with all the settings ready for the shooting because when it happens you would not have the time to prepare the camera.
