This photo was taken at the Lowry Zoo in the Tampa Florida area.He was sitting there looking so Handsome couldn't help but capture the moment. Not a lot of cages to shoot through so it's easy to capture these images. Thank youTime
The time of day my guess would have been in the early afternoon.Lighting
With this image the tiger was laying down in what I will call a den type setting. Not a lot of trees around so lighting as ok. Bright sunny day helped, being under the shelter no shadows.Equipment

Normally I have my Nikon D500 with 18mm to 400mm lens. If I go to a rookery or a state park where I want to sit and take photos of birds nesting, feeding their young, bringing in nesting material I will use my Nikon 200mm to 500mm lens on a tripod with a gimbal type ball head so it's ready to capture any fast action.Feedback
My only advice is keep an eye on you camera setting if you're shooting in manual ,I also shoot raw. Lighting conditions are always changing.
