Location
I took this photo at the Big Sur California 101 bus stop along the Pacific Coast Highway!Time
This photo took place late morning.Lighting
I know midday shooting isn't everyone's favorite natural lighting, but when you're on a road trip going based of Mother Nature, you gotta work with what she gives you when she gives it to ya!Equipment
I used a Canon T3i 70-200 mm senseInspiration
I was on a car camping road trip along Big Sur just for this shot! It's a dream come true to be able to experience the trip and to get a Viewbug Award for it!Editing
I brought out some of the color in the ocean and cliff side through Photoshop. In my camera bag
I usually carry my Canon T3i with a 70-200 mm, 25 mm fixed lens and the standard 18-70mm lens. I'm excited to be adding a new camera and new lenses into the equation soon!Feedback
I stress a lot about needing to take photos that other people will like. I have to constantly remind myself that art is expressive, subjective and fun, so I need to enjoy what I'm shooting first. I took this with the idea I would only like this photo. I worked too hard in post-processing and during the shoot to capture this location to appeal to the masses and those photos have barely gotten any views! It's always the photos you enjoy the most that has the most rewarding outcome.
