Behind The Lens

Location

Photo was taken in our living room during playtime/learning with our two Austrailian Shepherds.

Time

Photo was taken early evening, mid-summer

Lighting

No special lighting. Only table lamp combined with natural early evening mid-summer light from the southwest direction; stage left from Sadie.

Equipment

Samsung S8 Active cell phone.

Inspiration

Although this was playtime, it was also teaching. I had been trying to teach Sadie to "ask" for a treat. This photo was taken after her having had a treat just minutes after before. This was her third. She was a pretty quick learner.

Editing

There was some minimal post-processing using Gimp to sharpen slightly and crop.

In my camera bag

My equipment go-bag is always ready to go with: Cameras: Sony a65, Nikon D3000, Olympus Pen EE-2 35mm "Half Frame" Camera (28mm f/3.5 Zuiko Lens), Minolta Maxxum 7000 xi, Minolta Maxxum 5000 xi, Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, (Cell) Lenses: Sony DT 3.5 -5.6/18 -55 SAM ll, (2) Minolta Maxxum AF Zoom 35 - 80 mm 1:4 (22) - 5.6, Minolta Maxxum AF Zoom 80 - 200 mm1:4.5 (22) - 5.6, Minolta Maxxum AF 50 mm 1:1.7 (22), AF-S DX Nikkor 15-55 - 5.6G VR, and AF-S DX Nikkor ED 55-200mm 1:4-5.6 G Extras: 2 back-up Nikon batteries, 3 back-up Sony batteries, 1 back-up Minolta Maxxum battery, several mini-SD cards, Mini-tripod, plastic bags, raincoat. . .

Feedback

Spontanious phototography is so much easier these days with great cell phone cameras. Spontaneous worked well for me here.
