This was a spur-of-the-moment opportunity to photograph the blossom of a variety of Iris, Variegated Sweet Iris, Iris pallida 'Variegata.' Being without camera, other than the camera of my cell phone, the opportunity fell to my phone, a Samsung S4 Active.Inspiration
I had not seen this Iris in a number of years. It's fragrance is that of a grape grape soft drink that was ubiquitous when I was much younger; Nehi Grape.Editing
