Plaza de la Catedral:dominated by the elegant profile of it's church, Plaza is one of the symbols of Habana Vieja. The present church (Catedral de San Cristobal) was build in 18th century but the plaza was an important place where water was channeled from Almendares river since 15th century.
The Baroque facade of the church, declared a national monument, is considered one of the most beautiful in the Americas.
