Behind The Lens

Location

the photo was taken in W?adys?awowo moments after sunrise, when the light lit the clouds in front of the sun

Time

The photo was taken February 20, 2020 in the morning moments after sunrise

Lighting

To be able to catch a cloud in this color you have to wait until the sun slightly goes over the horizon and highlight everything around you. the most beautiful colors are those 20 minutes before sunrise and 10 minutes after

Equipment

photo was taken Canon 5D mark IV, with 16-35 mm lens, on a Manfrotto tripod, with filters: polarizing, half gray and gray, from BENRO

Inspiration

I love sea. whenever conditions are up I get up in the morning and set off in search of beautiful moments. I am inspired by the colors of nature, I always try to show the beauty of the world that we are not able to experience on a daily basis

Editing

I do everything in Lightroom, and I spend no more than 5 minutes editing photos. I try to make it look like I want at the stage of taking a photo. All I have to do is draw the shadows, dim the lights and give it a delicate color

In my camera bag

apart from the camera, of course, 16-35 mm, I always have a Canon 28-300 mm, additional gray filters and a flashlight

Feedback

the weather changes often at the seaside, you have to be patient and give the clouds a chance. Because they often diverge at the least expected moment. It's important to put something in the foreground. Something that will balance the dynamics of the clouds. You have to have your eyes around your head. Don't focus in one place. It is worth observing what clouds are coming in which direction.
