Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on a cool brisk fall day at Rickets Glenn in Pennsylvania.I stood in the water with a tripod to get this shot.It is a long hike in and out .

Time

It was I believe early afternoon. I had to wait for other people to not be in the area to get the shot .

Lighting

It was a sunny day but there were alot of clouds and shadows to deal with .

Equipment

I used a Nikon D7100 , a tripod,a shutter release with a Tokina 11-20 f2.8 lens

Inspiration

I walked to many falls on the trail around this stream . I really liked the colors and shape of this waterfall .

Editing

May have lightened up some of the shadows .

In my camera bag

I traveld rather light because of the long hike in and out .I used D7100, Tripod,Tokina lens .I also had a few extra batteries and sd cards in my backpack.

Feedback

Don't be afraid to give it a shot! Even if it takes awhile to get there and back it is well worth the effort! In fact I got lost on the way out of the falls area and had to ask for a lift to my truck.There was not any cell service so I could not call or text anyone !!
