Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a city nearby where i live, circunding Tagus River. I was driving by and was attracted by this boat, alone in the water.

Time

It was in the afternoon, around 4PM maybe. It was a sunny and warm January day.

Lighting

The boat was being enlighted by that warm winter sun just surrounded by a shadow, just as if by that it said "Look at me!, I'm still wonderfull!"

Equipment

Canon 80D, 18-135mm

Inspiration

That old saying "Old is beautifull" is so true. I tend to take pictures from all that has history and this boat tells us a history of effort, survivence and probably of good moments too.

Editing

Nothing special, just a small balance of colors. This was a real and true moment. When i took the picture i focoused myself on the boat and forgot the buildings that were back in the horizon. That reflects in the picture.

In my camera bag

My camera.

Feedback

I am an amateur photographer so my advice is what i practice: if it gives you a feeling, it is worth capturing it.
