Behind The Lens

Location

In the most unlikely of places, as this lovely Chinese lantern pushed its way through a fence from someone's garden to the walk way

Time

Towards the end of the day as the rain begins to fall, little light and an umbrella overhead to stop the rain

Lighting

Low lighting, and umbrella over head limiting overhead lighting

Equipment

This was shot with a Canon 400D with a

Inspiration

It caught my eye, at the end of the cycle path a few stray bright yellow flowers poking through the bland and dreery background

Editing

A small amount of post processing using Adobe lightroom, a slight colour change and sharpening of the edges

In my camera bag

Usually, I carry a spare wide angle lense, flash light ring, standing flash, a gorilla pod and a tripod, for good measure.

Feedback

Patience, and not letting the bad weather put you off taking photos
