I had the pleasure of doing a recent photoshoot, and we were graciously loaned "ECUADOR XXIV" to accommodate some of our needs for the product shoot. "Eco" is a PRE. That is a horse that is officially known as a P.R.E. Horse - Pura Raza Española - or in English the Pure Blood Spanish Horse or Pure Spanish Horse. (Think: ANDALUSIAN)
Eco's size alone was quite impressive standing at over 17 hands. He was a gentle giant with a truly kind eye, and was absolutely the consummate gentleman and "model" to work with. Eco also has an adorable and playful personality that made those "ears up" needs easy to accomplish!
Eco is a 2009 imported PRE Stallion that is lovingly owned by Audrie Anthony who stands him at stud at her farm "Bocoy Stables" in south Florida.
For those that are curious, Ecuador XXIV was was bred by renowned farm Los Alburejos and its owner Don Alvaro Domeqc, founder of the Royal Andalusian School in Jerez, Spain. Eco was imported as a 4 year old and is one of only 2 Los Alburejos stallions in the United States. As a Los Alburejos progeny he is an exceptional example of the Andalusian horse and the meticulous breeding program of Don Alvaro Domeqc.
