Believe it or not... that’s not a real hooded cape on my model. She had been touching up makeup and running a brush through her hair in the bathroom.

I was standing beside her (camera in hand) offering suggestions. The bathroom door was open and allowing natural light from the bedroom window to filter in.

As we turned to exit the bathroom I said, “Hang on a minute, I wanna try something.” So I had her stop by the exit, and turn to face me. Then I said, “Don’t move!”

I reached up and grabbed the cloth outer shower curtain and draped it over her head and shoulders. Then I stepped back, flicked off the bathroom light, and in the darkness, I captured this ethereal photo!

I love it! She did to! Sometimes ya just have to think out of the box!!!
