I took this photo in my home, I had bought this beautiful Cala flower at the botanical garden in Mexico City. I took it home and decided to take several shots.Time
I really don’t remember but is not important, it must have been something around noontime but I was in open shade in my terrace so the light was beautiful anyway.Lighting
As I said it was open shade so the light was perfect for flower photography.Equipment
I used my Sony alpha ILCE 6000 Lens E 30mm f/3.5 Macro 1/200 ISO 100 f/5 No flash On tripodInspiration
I love to shoot flowers in general and I went to the botanical garden to look for dahlias. But they didn’t have any yet, it was the end of the winter. So I looked for other kind of flowers and I found this Cala flower that conquered me.Editing
I always do a post process to balance the color, the hue, the temperature of light, a little bit of balancing lights and shadows and maybe contrast. I also crop if it’s necessary. In my camera bag
I carry normally my camera, a wide angle lens, a telephoto lens, a macro and a lensbaby. My extra battery fully charged, a charger, cleaning equipment, cable release, tripod, filters.Feedback
The most important part of a successful photography is the focus point. You have to be very careful with it. If the photography is out of focus, for me, it’s a failure.
