Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my backyard. I’m a self taught photographer, I have taken a few classes on it but just the basics. I love shooting people and especially my daughter.

Time

It was on a warm summers eve just as the sun was setting. I have this old apple tree that’s been in the yard for 10 plus years and it’s a great place to take photos with the shadows of the tree and the sun shining through its amazing.

Lighting

The lighting is awesome in this part of my yard. As the sun was setting it brought in some light through the tree we were standing under. Also there were great shadows from the tree.

Equipment

Canon Camera Rebel EOS with a 15-88 mm lense

Inspiration

My daughter inspires me every day that I look at her. In this photo she is 15 years of age. She has beautiful Bright red hair and ocean blue eyes.

Editing

No,not at this time, I have in the past. But not in this photo.

In my camera bag

I always have a remote, a tripod, lens filters, a nylon sock and an elastic for a filter as well.ha ha A white piece of paper for light and I have one other zoom lens.

Feedback

Just go with the flow, have fun, don’t take the photo in bright sun. You should also have an amazing beautiful model, that is very photogenic like my daughter! That makes the whole picture!
