The Cloud formations here lend themselves to the Sun for a little color

These are what you get for surviving the storms here in the desert . Beautiful skies and clouds of every color !

I was out shooting the fireworks and the moon and starting playing with the idea of the eclipse ,this is the result ...

These horses are part of herd that live in the outer portion of Death Valley and are fed by locals that also protect them from tourists

This is what we get as payment for the 120 degree days and nights ,We get the occasional storm to make things better , But what a show the Clouds give

The sun makes things look like an Autumn evening is on the way ,Lovely day overall ...

This is one of the joys of the high desert, this particular one ws due mostly to Calif. being on fire, that brings us storms sometimes !

This was taken just south of Groom Lake ,Nv. on a very windy day ,looks like a hidden UFO at the rear of the cloud !

Sometimes they just move in and sit there,promising to do something , but it takes it's time about it , then snows all over the place ,"Ya g

They Come to the Old Hotel to eat ,the owner feeds them daily,then they head back out into the desert for the night

They seem to land in awkward places ,especially for the ground crews, at least this is not snake season . Makes those weeds too scary to tromp around

Moon

they just keep on coming , the feeding time is never over

this is the Fountain located near the rest stop in Shoshone,Ca.

This road looks like it just disappears into the smoke .Over the mountain is Death Valley,Ca.

The Thunderbirds use this area to practice and perfect their Flights, Incredible precision , great show !
