bike race in downtown Vancouver, BC.

Time

midday.

Lighting

full sunlight with background building in deep shade.

Equipment

Nikon F2, 24mm lens.

Inspiration

I love to do panning shots and this one captured the centre rider more sharp while the leader and following riders blurred more. The dark background helped a lot!

Editing

film scanned as accurately as possible. No post other than cropping to a more pan format.

In my camera bag

In the film days I would carry 4 prime lenses. Now I carry 2 zooms.
