No matter where you are or what your subject matter is, always pay attention to the light (for natural light photogs). Light is the critical element that makes or breaks in image.Equipment
Fuji XE-2 with 18-135 lenses.....a slow lens that requires patience in these situations (unless you are willing to bump the ISO up a lot), but with care and luck it is a wonderful travel lens.Inspiration

Simplify by careful framing....leave out everything that isn't absolutely necessary. The "design" aspect of image making is too often an after thought, but should be an integral part of the capture process.
