Again I failed to find the upper limit of the fog. On the Höchsten (which is - as the name suggests - the highest elevation in the immediate vicinity) I was able to catch a glimpse of the moon shortly before sunrise, but then it closed again. So I decided to take a walk in the thick fog through the beautiful beech forests on the Gehrenberg.
