My "rain gauge" in the back yard is full. We had some of the highest rainfalls in NSW. My neighbour's true rain gauge showed 150 points in 2 days. The hope is for rain to ease the bushfire situation and fill our dam catchments. We should build more dams to save water for drought times, but there are those (rot their socks!) who are determined NOT to do so! Sadly, our guvamints tend to bend to radical demands.
