Location
This photo was taken down in my studio located on Cape Cod MassachusettsTime
the time of day was right around 6pm which is dusk here eastern standard timeLighting
For the lighting I used Paul bluffs alienbee B800 and one godox stripbox with a grid to focus the light in front of meEquipment
Camera was Nikon D700 Lighting was Paul c bluffs alienbee B800 with a godox stripboxInspiration
My love for a nice hot coffee on a cold day. Here in Massachusetts it gets pretty cold windy and snowy and when I am out and about I often find myself going to the nearest coffee shop for the hot cup of JoeEditing
I did very little post production on this photo. I use photoshop for all my post production on this specific shot. I brought up some shadows and brought down a few highlights I also ran a curved adjustment on it to give it that blue tone which is often seen in my workIn my camera bag
Lot to list but some things i always have with me is my Nikon D700 50mm lens with and 18-24mm batteries two yongnuo speedlights and a cup of coffee :)Feedback
My advice to any photographer trying to take a shot like this is have fun make it your own be creative or you could just use my settings on the photo. Don't be afraid to play with your settings or light.
