Location

This photo was taken in the Kruger National Park.

Time

This was taken mid morning on a game drive in the Park. We only get to go once a year. I love taking photos of birds, their coloring and the constant movement is always fun to get the image you happiest with.

Lighting

Mid morning helps as the sun is high enough not to give me too many issues. But I am far from a pro, this is my hobby, although would love to do it more regularly.

Equipment

This was taken with a Canon Powershot SX50 HS. No other equipment was used.

Inspiration

I have a love for the bush. You never see the same thing ever. Everyday is exciting. This is one of 10 species of Kingfisher. It is always challenging to find and photograph as many as I can.

Editing

Nothing was done.

In my camera bag

I have 3 Canons, 3x lenses, extra SD Cards, definitely my chargers. As I progress I will possibly acquire more gadgets.

Feedback

Patience is key. I can sit at a watering hole watching the activity for hours. Waiting for the shot I think is perfect. My perfect.
