A brilliant sunset at a wind turbine around 3 hours drive N-W from Brisbane AU.
I first saw this wind farm in a photo i took of another sunset around October.. When editing the photo I noticed the turbines in the horizon of the image.
A mate and I decided to drive out to the Wind Farm and check it out!
Coopers Gap Wind Farm is still in construction, it will have around 130 turbines making it one of Australia's largest wind farms. The turbines are 180m tall at there highest point, the blades are around 70m long.. The sight will have the capacity to power over 250,000 homes once complete
