I took this photo in my backyard after seeing the selective colour - Animal Only photo challengeTime
10:41 am it was a bright sunny morning with lots of clouds floating aroundLighting
Lighting was completely natural for this shotEquipment
For this shot I used my Nikon D800e and a 70-200mm lens handheldInspiration
Well I saw the photo challenge pop up and after seeing a few of the entries I was compelled to give it ago!Editing
For this shot I removed all colour apart from his eyes in Lightroom I added some clarity over the B&W area and to make the photo pop I adjusted the vibrancy of his eyesIn my camera bag
Full batteries, empty memory cards, tripod, micro fibre cloths, water proof bags, the right lenses specific to the shots I am chasing along with filters.Feedback
Yes! best advice for anyone trying to work with dogs or most animals in fact is food! My dog is obsessed with chasing after anything chew toys, balls, sticks basically anything that moves. So it was pretty easy to make him slow down once him noticed I had some food. It was just a matter of taking the shot with one hand and the food in the other..
