Behind The Lens

Location

This was shot in my studio located in Hyderabad just a day before Christmas!!

Time

This was actually shot after a Christmas shoot with the model. I wanted to create some photos for my upcoming Fine Art exhibition in my city and was planning to ad some more last minute images. So rather than spending time with too many lights and props shot this with the model and was done in 10 mins time

Lighting

I wanted the pic to be soft, mysterious but in a pleasant way. Had a top light setup from the back pointing to the front , made her lay down on piece of wooden box and adjusted the light and her body position and wola we had a beautiful shot!!

Equipment

Shot on a 50mm at 1.8 for that buttery shallow effect, on a Nikon D810 with a Elinchrom Frx200 single strip light with grid

Inspiration

The Inspiration is my love for Nude Fine Arts where I love portraying moods/ stories through my pictures

Editing

This is just post processed in Adobe Photoshop with little bit of dodging burning and playing around with curves layer.

In my camera bag

Depend what I plan to shoot. But yea as I shoot max indoor and my studio is home based so would say whatevere I need is always in my Drybox with my Nikon lenses and two Nikon cameras!!

Feedback

This is a very simple pic and a very simple light setup. The Idea that just came up on my mind was to show what people love to do if they are alone just sleep tight and be calm if theres no one else to talk to or share ur thoughts with !!
