Behind The Lens

Location

This was shot at my Indoor Studio

Time

Was shot indoor around afternoon time!!

Lighting

Just two light setup

Equipment

This was shot with a Nikon D810 and a 24-120mm lens. Strobes used are Elinchrom FRX 400 (2) On in a deep octa and other one was a Barndoor with a yellow gel for the color play.

Inspiration

This was actually shot for one of my friend who had come to get his portfolio done. once the basic portfolio was done I wanted to get something moody done and had the concept pf Godfather in my mind for sometime just used the setup in a different way

Editing

The Photo was processed in PS CC 2019, Some light rays were added and some smoke were added in post processing.

In my camera bag

Generally depends on my shoot plan but yes it will always be a Nikon d810 and indoor could be a 24-120, 85mm 1.8, 50mm 1.8 outdoor I prefer my 70-200 nikon or a 35mm1.4 for that wide photo with super shallow depth of field!!

Feedback

One Should play with lights and more with shadows to get some moody shots!!
