After 6 years of waiting for my cat-allergic housemate to give the ok, I FINALLY got a cat again to share my sickbed. It has been quite lonely being bedridden with Chronic Lyme Disease and POTS without having a pet to share my ups & downs with. We underestimate the power that animals have in our lives and health until we can't have one by our sides. Ava is a wonderful addition to my life and likely to prolong my time here on earth.
