Behind The Lens
Location
I took this photo whilst abroad visiting my sister. I've become ill with the flu. So felt really trapped indoors. Climbing the walls syndrome.Time
It was around midday, but as per studio shoots time is really irrelevant.Lighting
I wanted this image to show the suffering, person locked indoors for couple of weeks, wanting to escape painful reality.Equipment
I had pretty basic equipment, my Canon, 24-70 lens and one speedlight with wireless triggers. It was a really struggle as I was trying to photograph my own hand. Had to use loads of bounce cards to distribute the light the way i wanted.Inspiration
Like I said, general boredom and not being able to go out and explore other opportunities.Editing
Yes, but I like to to things right in the camera. Hence not even cropping involved. In my camera bag
I'm minimalist when it comes to gear. 24-70mm, 50mm and 100mm macro. Speedlight at least one. Remote triggers always.Feedback
Patience is a key. Keep trying untill you are happy. ????
