Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at El Yunque Rainforest in Puerto Rico. This forest is nature reserve of the United States. It has many rivers, where we selected this small waterfall for photo.

Time

The photo section was during the day between 9 am and 12 noon.

Lighting

Reflectors are used to redirect the natural light. No flash or artificial light was used.

Equipment

A Canon 60D camera is used with a lens 75/300 mm.

Inspiration

As a photographer my passion is nature. Use the fascinating movement of water in its purest state to create a canvas in the body of the model, also in its most natural state. The main idea was to capture a sensual image with class and professionalism.

Editing

Some light and contrast filters were used to highlight the hue of the water and the body of the model. Beyond this major tweaks were not performed.

In my camera bag

Generally I usually go with the least amount of equipment. Having the lightness and mobility to seek complicated postures is essential for me. Anyway I always carry several lenses and extra batteries.

Feedback

For me photography is an art that goes hand in hand with creativity and elements. You should always be prepared and have an artistic eye on everything around us. You have to be risky, patient and loving nature.
