Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Athens, Ga at Canopy Studios. Canopy is an aerial arts studio. I captured this image during one of the performances.

Time

This photo was taken at night under low spot light performance lighting.

Lighting

A very challenging lighting situation but I was happy to push through my comfort zone!!!

Equipment

Canon dslr, tripod , no flash

Inspiration

These amazing artists and what they make come to life with their dedication, strength and beauty.

Editing

I did a slight decrease in contrast in post.

In my camera bag

Canon dslr, lenses, filters, arsenal, cleaning equipment and what ever else I can fit in my bag :)

Feedback

This was shot in very low light with moving bodies (very challenging). From each performance, the light changed so I shot with a fast shutter speed while trying to adjust the iso and aperture as quickly as I could! Alternatively, you could set camera on shutter speed priority and let the camera do the rest! If you shoot in raw you can fix any tweaks!
