Visitors to the Museum of the North, located on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus, will find numerous outdoor displays. This picture shows the bear and wolf; the eagle is out of sight above the wolf. It tells the story of the man who claimed the wolf crest for his family. The master carver for this beautiful totem was Nathan Jackson. Apprentice carvers were Lee Wallace and Bert Ryan.
