Location
This photo was taken at Chittenango Falls State park. About 15 miles east of syracuse, N.Y.Time
It's was take early to mid afternoon on an overcast day, that didn't include any harsh light.Lighting
Like I said no harsh light as in was overcast. It enables me to take some nice shots of the Falls.Equipment
Camera was used was a Canon 5D Mark II, with a 24-105 mm lens. I didn't bring my tripod as I was visiting from Texas, I am from Syracuse originally. No flash, natural light.Inspiration
Inspiration was I like water falls and always wanted a frozen type photo of these particular Falls. I think I got one. I like the frozen effect of the water. It came out very good!Editing
Not much really.. It was early Fall with a little color. I gave it a little saturation, clarity, slight crop, sharpness, that's all.In my camera bag
Canon 5D Mark II body. 24-105mm lens, 12-24mm Sigma Wide Angel lens. 70-200mm lens with 2X coverter.Feedback
Be patient, have a tripod. Avoid harsh light unless you get an overcast afternoon. Shoot early morning or before sunset. Polarizer filters.Tripod....Or something similiar like a wooden shelf facing the falls.
