Location
I took this photo in Surf City, NC in the Fall of 2019.Time
I decided to head down to an inter- coastal waterway park to see if I could get some decent evening shots. This was one of the last photos I took as I was walking back to my Jeep.Lighting
As the sun was setting it caused a really nice lightning effect in the sky and allowed for a good shot of the wood railing.Equipment
I used my iPhone 11 ProMax to take the picture. I used the portrait mode to get good detail on the wood grain and help blur out the background. I edited the phot in Adobe Lighetto on.Inspiration
I enjoy walking down to the beach and take photos of the wildlife and scenery. I’ve started to get more photos of the sky and landscapes.Editing
I edited it in Lightroom and focused on the overall lighting of the photo and the crisp detail of the wood grain. In my camera bag
I usually carry my Cannon EOS Rebel T6 and an assortment of lenses. I always have my iPhone with me to try and get good photos without a traditional camera.Feedback
Sunsets on the beach almost always provide good photo opportunities. I try and think of any subject as a good photo opportunity. I try and focus on framing a subject well and try to rely on editing to bring out the shot.
