During a European trip, we had the pleasure of visiting these historic windmills on a windy and cold day. Most people did not brave the weather, but we enjoyed the lack of crowds and the clouds that made for better photographs. The craftsmanship in building and maintaining these was inspiring and we enjoyed speaking with a mill keeper, who yawed one of the windmills for us. This UNESCO Heritage site is Kinderdijk in the Netherlands
