Behind The Lens

Location

This shot was taken on the playground of a local school. This brother and sister had just gotten water tribe tattoos together so we went out for a photoshoot.

Time

Would have been mid to late afternoon.

Lighting

I know there was a lot of cloud cover because it rained later so the lighting was really even.

Equipment

Nikon D5 With a Nikkor 20-300mm lens

Inspiration

When I was young and in highschool I did a shoot with a friend on a similar playground and we loved that climbing tower of metal bars. It made for some nice leading lines and contrast to the surroundings. The playground in the photo was close to they're living place and we thought it would be fun.

Editing

Very minimal post processing. Just some slight light adjustments due to the cloud cover.

In my camera bag

My camera and lens a photo sphere a flash and some sort of antique film camera. I try to be minimal in the equipment I need.
