This photo was taken on a trip I took to Boston with some friends from California. We had plans to visit Salem for Halloween and were using Boston as a hub for the trip.Time
This was taken around 3:30pm. We were walking around Boston and making our way over to Fenway Park at the timeLighting
It had been a fairly nice day out while we were out walking, but you can see the clouds that were starting to roll in right as I took this picture. Since we were there around Halloween time, I felt like it added to the feeling of Fall.Equipment
I didnt actually have my camera out with me at the time, as we were just out for a walk. So this was actually taken on my iPhone XS Max. No other equipment was usedInspiration
I wasnt actually looking to shoot anything that day. But as we walked by this bridge, the colors and the reflection grabbed my attention pretty quick.Editing
There was some post processing done for this, but not too much to be honest. I brightened up some of the shadowing in front of and behind the bridge area. The cloudy weather made it a little too dark. I've also cropped the photo to focus more on the bridge and the reflection in the water. Also made the colors of the leaves pop a little more.In my camera bag
I normally carry around my Sony A7II with my Zeiss 16-35mm F4, which is what I mostly use. But I also keep my Nikon D5600 with a 18-140mm F3.5-5.6. In the case of this photo though, the only thing I was carrying was my phone. I find myself using the phone quite often actually, as its quick, easy, and its always with me. So, I guess it can be added to something in my bagFeedback
Always pay attention to whats around you, even when you aren't looking to shoot. You never know what or where you will come across something that catches your eye. In this case, this was caught on the side of a backstreet, as we were walking around a city.
