Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken by a trailhead near my house. I am self-taught and I thought the mountains were a great place to learn.

Time

My sister and I were out walking all-day I just happened to bring my camera that day and lucky for me that I did. Around 8:00 pm the lighting of the sun become perfect, I just had to capture it. The full date is November 6, 2019

Lighting

The lighting was all nature's gift I just happened to see it at the right time.

Equipment

This was shot with a Canon PowerShot SX530 HS with no other equipment.

Inspiration

I was looking for a place that could show off its own beauty. I also like the idea of having my sister and my dog in the shot to show the wonders of hiking.

Editing

I didn't do any post-processing

In my camera bag

The only equipment that I have in my bag or otherwise is my Canon PowerShot SX530 HS.

Feedback

If you are looking to capture a sunset it is all about time. What I've learned is you can go out looking for the perfect shot because it will most likely not happen. You just have to learn to take advantage of what you have and what you have been given.
