Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken On Red Cloud Loop in the Uintah Basin.

Time

I was showing my Grandparents around one early morning. Around 8 or 9 AM we pulled into a pull off and this pine tree was there so I just looked around and found an angle that I liked.

Lighting

The lighting in this picture is completely natural, I made sure the sunlight wouldn't blur the picture.

Equipment

This photo was shot off of a Samsung Galaxy J7.

Inspiration

I was just playing around with the camera on my phone and I liked the way this tree looked in the picture.

Editing

The only post-processing I did with this picture was turn it black and white and lower the light level. I don't have a professional photo editing programs or apps so to do this I just used the editor on google photos.

In my camera bag

I don't have a bag, I just use my phone. which at the time this photo was taken was a Galaxy J7, now I have a google pixel.

Feedback

In the location this photo was taken, the wind is usually pretty low, but there have been storms that roll in quickly and could take a while to clear up. Lighting might be the biggest challenge.
