As I've been learning about coastal erosion and shoreline management plans recently, this is of particular interest: Sidmouth cliffs showing the extensive erosion and loss of residential land - aside from the apparent risks to life, this seriously diminishes value. People are prohibited from walking beneath the cliffs as it's too dangerous. The colour of the cliff substrate is clearly visible in the immediate waters. On the plus side, the shore birds appear to be enjoying the nutrient enriched waters.
