The photo was taken at a rice yard situated at my hometown Sherpur, a small town in Bangladesh. I love to represent my hometown through my photographs.Time
This is one of my favorite photos taken at a rice yard. It was a winter morning. I remember waking up early at a cold winter morning to catch the first light, the golden one! I reached the rice yard just in time and took this photograph at around 7:30 am.Lighting
It was a beautiful natural golden light. One have to be at the right place at the right time. I observed the sunrises and sunsets around me and learnt to anticipate the approximate time to catch the beautiful natural golden light.Equipment
This shot was taken with a Nikon d7000 and 18-55mm lens.Inspiration
I was looking at the vapors coming from the paddy grains that were being semi boiled and then set on the yard to sundry. As it was a beautiful morning. the golden light, fog and the vapors from the paddy created a mystic atmosphere! That inspired me to capture the beautiful and magical scene in front of me.Editing
Just small adjustments ar camera raw filter in adobe photoshop. The light and the scenery was too beautiful, so I didn't really have to do any severe post processing. In my camera bag
I travel simple and light. I usually carry my Nikon d7000, 18-55 lens, 35 mm prime and sometimes an external flash and trigger.Feedback
Know the environment, light around you. Try to anticipate the right time when the right light will be available and try to be at the right place about 30 minutes prior to that to observe the activities.
