Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in local woods when I lived in Essex though I haven't enjoyed the autumn leaves

Time

I think I took this early afternoon, it was taken several years back so I hope I've got that right! I went out for a walk with my camera just to have a practise of framing and saw the stream of light amongst the trees. I am obsessed with light streams and I love how, for me, it adds different layers and is definitely one of my favourite things to capture!

Lighting

I try and use natural light and enjoy capturing natural light, I think it gives a different feel to studio lighting and can create some amazing captures

Equipment

I used my Canon 600d with an 18-55mm lens, no other equipment

Inspiration

I was walking past and just happened to notice the light coming through the trees!

Editing

I did darken the photo slightly

In my camera bag

My current equipment is my canon 600d, an 18-55mm and a 35mm lens

Feedback

Always keep your eyes peeled!
