I've been dreaming of photographing someone with their hands tied behind their back for quite some time, inspired by a painting by Tina Maria Elena.

However, there is a pattern that whenever I try to involve another person in my nude photography project, it doesn't work.

I took matters into my own hands to add the element of tied hands to my self portraiture. With it being a self portrait, I wasn't able to bind my own hands (or perhaps it was a possibility, but I lacked the patience), but I believe that the posing of the hands with the addition of the tree as a prop creates a similar visual.
