The garden front of the hôtel d’Aumont, facing rue de l’hôtel de Ville, quai de l’hôtel de Ville and the River Seine. The private mansion was designed by Louis Le Vau and built from 1644 à 1648; since 1959 the edifice houses the Tribunal Administratif of Paris. From 1802 until 1824, the building was rented to house the mairie of what was then the 9th arrondissement of Paris.
