The macro photo was taken in my home , me being newly medically disabled i was having a hard time dealing with the thought of not being able to get out and get the nature shots, so i tried my hand at macro water droplets just in case things got worse and this was some of the results , and i did enjoy macro photography by the wayTime
It was mid-afternoon when i got up the couage to try some type of macro photography and i thought water dropplets may be fun to tryLighting
The lighting was a twin portable Ring flash timed with cameraEquipment
The camera at this time i believe was my canon 60D with a 50 mm lens and 2 extensions using a eye droper by hand and a remote wired promaster button controllerInspiration
My inspiration was due to desperation of having to just dealt with a tumor operation and autonomic nerve damage, you see i could no longer handhold a camera because of the nerve damage caused tremors in my hands so i had to adjust using tri-pod for all my camera uses for now on, now me being a outdoor nature photographer i felt a very large loss due to not bein able to hanhold my cameras any longer and having to drag a tri-pod everwhere i wanted to go,but i am still trying to do my best after all that has happened, and i think the newest turkey shots will attest for my not willing to give up my favorite activity being photographyEditing
the only post - processing i did was to take out some of the ring lights Reflections out of inside the dropletsIn my camera bag
Right now in my bag i have a Canon EOS Rebel T7I with the 50mm 1.4Lens and and macro100mm 2.8L Lens and a 17-55mm ultrasonic 2.8 lens and a 70-300 zoom lens 4-5.6 and last but not least is my sigma150mm by 500mm APO HSM,a set of 3 lens extensions , Neewer lens ring light, chargers and spare batteries with spare SD cards ,a plata pod MAX the necessary cables and lens wipes, all in a TUBU Photographers backpack , one aluminium Bogan model 3021 tri-pod and a kneeling padFeedback
My advice for others that want to try macro photography is to go ahead and try it , there no failers if you learn from your mistakes and just gets better with practice like any other type of photography
