You know how some moments in time in spectacular places move you to tears of overwhelming gratitude? The one's that are so special you don't know how to accurately capture or describe how they make you feel. As if the rays of light split through the clouds and into your soul, ignite a fire and help you find your groove and nourish your purpose. Yea...well this is one of those places and moments. I often question what good does my photography do for the world? Is it merely a selfish pursuit? How can a picture of a pretty landscape do anything? Even with lots of introspection, I have no answers, but I know it drives me to experience the world for all of its highs and lows...to not always seek answers but to just observe and feel. It allows me to listen and it reminds me to stay curious and stay compassionate. Apurimac River Canyon near Chonta, Peru.
