Location
This is in Eastern Arizona looking East as the sun rises in November.Time
Sunrise in November.Lighting
No artificial lighting, I let Mother Nature provide the lighting.Equipment
I use a Fuji Finepix S4400 camera, most of the time for sunsets and sunrises i do use a tripod but this was taken hand-held.Inspiration
I sit by my front window and I can see the morning sun, on this particular morning everything was gold and not the usual pinks and reds. We had a storm the night before so this was a gorgeous sky I just had to capture. I love to shoot the morning sky through the tree branches for a focal frame.Editing
No post-processingIn my camera bag
My bag holds my Fuji Finepix S4400 and now a filter adapter tube and three filters. This photo was not taken with any of the filters.Feedback
When shooting sunrises and sunsets I always check the time of the event and plan to be out at least 15 to 20 minutes early. I love the variety of stages the lighting will go through as well as the peace and quiet. Frame your shot with nature, I have a huge tree I use year round for the perfect focal.
