Behind The Lens

Location

This photograph was shot in Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan, India

Time

My day started at 6.00 in the morning on a safari in search of tigers in the wild. This sighting was around 9.30 in the morning when we spotted this beautiful tigress walking down the path towards us.

Lighting

The time of the day and the foliage around provided just the perfect light for this shot.

Equipment

This was shot on a Nikon D750 full frame camera with a 150-600 mm Tamron Lens. The shot was hand held from a jeep

Inspiration

I am passionate about wildlife in it's natural habitat. This was a fantastic opportunity for me as I got both wildlife and nature.

Editing

Yes, Slight amount of adjustments in vibrance and contrast.

In my camera bag

While on wildlife safaris, I carry a Nikon D750 with Tamron 150-600mm Lens and a Nikkor 16-35 mm for landscapes. For street photography, I carry a Nikon Z6 with Kit lens of 24-70mm lens.

Feedback

The forests of India have an amazing variety of landscapes and different types of plant life making it a perfect setting for getting great shots in different seasons.
